Professional volleyball player Kim In-hyuk was found dead on February 4.

Arriving at the scene, authorities discovered a notebook of Kim In-hyuk in which he wrote down the negative emotions in life. This is an important item, helping the police come to a final conclusion about the cause of death of the Samsung Fire player.
“A notebook containing Kim In-hyuk’s negative thoughts in life has been found. After checking, if there is nothing unusual, we will end the investigation,” the representative of the Police Department said. They determined that Kim In-hyuk’s death was not a sign of a crime.
Kim In-hyuk’s family also believes that he committed suicide. Therefore, they asked the authorities not to perform an autopsy. This request has been accepted.
Kim In-hyuk‘s body was discovered at 3pm KST on February 4. Before that, families could not contact the 27-year-old athlete. They went to his apartment and discovered his body.
According to people who were close to Kim In-hyuk, he had been suffering from mental problems. In an Instagram comment in August 2021, he said he was tired of malicious comments targeting him on SNS.
“For the past 10 years, people have misunderstood me. I thought that ignoring them would be the best, but now I am exhausted. None of you have ever seen me up close, and you know nothing about me, and yet you constantly bully me with your hateful comments. Please stop, I’m so tired of them.
Listen, I do not wear makeup and I have never worn it. I do not like men, I have a girlfriend, and no, I have never acted in any adult movie in my life. Again, I did not apply mascara or any eye makeup. I only put on toner and lotion,” Kim In-hyuk wrote.
After Kim In-hyuk died, many Korean netizens have petitioned the authorities to take stronger actions to prevent cyber violence.
