Korean dating show “Single’s Inferno” draws controversy over “white and pure” remarks from male participants

International netizens are irritated when the male cast of Single’s Inferno judge women based on their skin color.

Single’s Inferno is a Korean dating reality show that is currently trending on social media because of its all-visual lineup of contestants. Moreover, although it is likened to another famous show of Netflix, Too Hot To Handle, Single’s Inferno is an interesting Asian take on dating shows with a new format.

However, not long after its release, Single’s Inferno has sparked controversy over the male contestants’ comments on how innocent and pure the women on the show are based on how pale their skin is. These comments have caused international viewers to show negative reactions.
