Ko Kyu-pil & Amin’s wedding scene revealed “Kim Nam-gil, Ahn Bo-hyun, Chun Woo-hee in attendance”
The wedding scene of actor Ko Kyu-pil and singer Amin, who tied the knot after 9 years of dating, has been revealed
On Nov 12th, Ko Kyu-pil married Amin, who is 9 years younger than him, at a ceremony held in Seoul. The wedding was kept private, with only relatives and close acquaintances in attendance.
Ko Kyu-pil’s agency Big Boss Entertainment announced in September, “Ko Kyu-pil will form a beautiful bond for a lifetime with singer-songwriter Amin (real name Min Soo-yeon), who has always been a source of strength by his side, on Nov 12th.“
Their relationship was first revealed in June. Ko Kyu-pil, appearing on various entertainment programs, mentioned, “I’ve been dating (with Amin) for 9 years. We broke up in the middle and got back together. It’s been 9 years. We didn’t particularly boast about our relationship and didn’t hide it either, but somehow it became news.”
He also recalled the time of their breakup, “The first time we broke up was because we didn’t have money. Dating costs money, right? It became stressful.”
The wedding was reportedly hosted by actor Kim Nam-gil, a close friend of Ko Kyu-pil. Kim Nam-gil, who had promised a long time ago that he would host Ko Kyu-pil’s wedding, kept his promise. The two have built a close friendship since working together on the drama “The Fiery Priest” and variety shows like “Trans-Siberian Pathfinders”, “K-Ocean Pathfinders”.
The congratulatory song was performed by Urban Zakapa’s Jo Hyun-ah, who formed a connection with Ko Kyu-pil through the show “Great Guide”. Various stars attended as guests to celebrate the couple’s future.
Ahn Bo-hyun uploaded a video of the wedding on his SNS with the caption, “Congratulations Kyu-pil hyung, who is 4th in brand reputation.” Celebrities including Chun Woo-hee, Lee Mi-Do, Jung Young-ki, Jung Tae-woo and Oh Na-ra also shared photos taken at the wedding, expressing their congratulations.
Meanwhile, Ko Kyu-pil debuted in 1993 with the film “Kid Cop”. He appeared in various projects, including dramas like “Crash Landing on You”, “Partners for Justice”, “The Fiery Priest”, “Lovers of the Red Sky”, “The King’s Affection” and the film “The Roundup: No Way Out”. Amin debuted in 2018 with the single “Hide And Seek” and released the single “Blue” last August.
