Knetizens pick out the symbol of beauty in K-dramas throughout the years: Cha Eun Woo appears among the actresses  

Famous beauties such as Song Hye Kyo and Son Ye Jin are not even mentioned in this list.  

Beauty standard is a definition that changes with time. This goes with the beauty standard in the acting industry of Korea as well, with each era having a beauty symbol and standard of its own. Recently, Korean netizens have joined an online debate to pick out the beauty symbol of Korean drama/movie from 1980 to now.

The 80s – actress Hwang Shin Hye

Hwang Shin Hye is a Korean actress born in 1963 and a household name in Korea before the 2000s. Her top-class beauty, soft and pure vibe which fits perfectly with the Koreans’ preference in the 80s along with her natural acting method has made her a legendary name in the industry at that time.

Somehow, Cha Eun Woo is mentioned here as well. To many, his visual deserves to be named here even though he is a male actor.
