Im Yoon Ah burst into tears while rehearsing the lines for the Han River restaurant scene in “King the Land”.

On August 7th, the Youtube channel “JTBC Drama” uploaded a new “King the Land” making video titled, “Forget about the sadness after the drama ended with this making video… But the making is also full of tears”.

In the video, Lee Jun Ho and Im Yoon Ah were seen practicing their lines before filming the scene at the Han River restaurant. As Im Yoon Ah revealed her plan to open a hotel, Lee Jun Ho said, “Next time”. He added, “My heart hurts”, and showed a sad expression.

After Lee Jun Ho said his next line, “I’ll run to you”, the director confessed, “I think I’ll cry after hearing this line”. Lee Jun Ho said, “Don’t cry because it would also make me cry. If I say ‘I’ll run to you right away’, I think my tears will fall nonstop”.

At that moment, Im Yoon Ah couldn’t hide her overwhelming emotions so she shed tears. Lee Jun Ho reacted, “Why are you crying? Save your tears”, adding “Just breathe slowly”, showing his consideration for Im Yoon Ah. Im Yoon Ah then playfully breathe hard to create loud noise, creating a pleasant atmosphere on the set.

Later, Lee Jun Ho and Im Yoon Ah did lovely poses when taking photos with the props. Im Yoon Ah praised Lee Jun Ho, saying “His acting is so good. He brings a completely different feeling from when I read the script”. Lee Jun Ho smiled shyly and replied, “Thank you”.

“King the Land” depicts the story of Gu Won (Lee Jun Ho), a man who mocks laughter, and an angel who always smiles, Cheon Sarang (Yoona), as they create days where genuine laughter can bloom at the VVIP lounge of The King hotel.
