Forestella Ko Woo-rim, who announced the news of his marriage to “figure skating queen” Kim Yu-na, directly expressed his happy feelings.
On July 25th, Ko Woo-rim uploaded a handwritten letter conveying feelings about his marriage to Kim Yu-na through his official fan cafe. Ko Woo-rim said, “I met a precious person during my five-year career and we will get married in October this year.”
He continued, “After much thought and contemplation, I made a very meaningful decision in my life. I am preparing for a new start with such a big decision, but I will always do my best to keep my place as Forestella’s bass Ko Woo-rim as I am now.”
He expressed gratitude to fans who congratulated him on the marriage news, “Under the blessings of my loved ones, I will try my best to become a wiser and more desirable artist with a more mature image.”
Earlier on the same day, it was reported that Ko Woo-rim and Kim Yu-na would tie the knot after about 3 years of dating. As news of their romantic relationship and marriage were announced at the same time, congratulations from all walks of life are pouring out.
Kim Yu-na and Ko Woo-rim developed into a romantic relationship after meeting at the All That Skate ice show in 2018. Meanwhile, Kim Yu-na was born in 1990 and is 33 years old this year. She is 5 years older than Ko Woo-rim (28 years old).
The wedding of the two is scheduled to be held privately in October.
