First aired in 2022, Youth MT brought together cast members from three popular dramas Love in the Moonlight, Itaewon Class, and The Sound of Magic as they enjoyed a fun-filled camping trip. It was during this show that sparks began to fly between Kim Yoo Jung and Hwang In Yeop, prompting viewers to root for the pair.
One of the most viral moments from the show occurred when Yoo Jung popped open a beer bottle without expecting a lot of foam to spill out. While others were frozen in surprise, Hwang In Yeop swiftly reached out to move the bottle away and help her, a small but thoughtful gesture that fans haven’t forgotten.

Although their characters Baek Ah Jin and Heo In Kang only shared a brief and tragic love story in the show, their emotional “one-year romance” left viewers swooning. Fans were left devastated by Heo In Kang’s death, despite being mentally prepared for a dramatic ending.
Netizens have since flooded social media, expressing their hope for another reunion this time in a melodrama or romantic comedy where their characters can finally find happiness. Many confessed that another thriller like Dear X might be too emotionally intense to handle again.
