Kim Tae Ri has unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19.

As reported by Ten Asia on July 27th, actress Kim Tae Ri tested positive for COVID-19 through the self-diagnosis kit. Earlier on the same day, as director Choi Dong Hoon was confirmed positive for COVID-19, all cast members underwent tests using self-diagnosis kits.

Director Choi and actors Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, and Jo Woo Jin were originally scheduled to attend the stage greetings for the movie “Alienoid” at theaters around Seoul, but the event was canceled.

CJ ENM, an investment distributor of “Alienoid”, announced on its official Instagram on the same day, “The stage greeting event for the first part of the movie ‘Alienoid’, which was scheduled to take place today, was inevitably canceled due to issues such as COVID-19 confirmation and close contact among major attendees.”

Meanwhile, featuring a star-studded cast, part 1 of “Alienoid” is a movie depicting the story that unfolds as the door of time opens between Taoists who want to take possession of a sword in the late Goryeo Dynasty and those who pursue alien prisoners trapped in human bodies in 2022.
