The actress stars in Amazon Prime Video’s new action-thriller series Butterfly, which also aired on tvN in Korea on August 22–23. She plays Kim Eun-joo, the wife of former U.S. intelligence officer David Jun g, portrayed by Daniel Dae Kim.

Marking her Hollywood debut, Kim Tae-hee impressed audiences with delicate emotional acting, seamlessly transitioning between Korean and English dialogue. Rather than relying on glamorous styling, she portrayed a grounded wife and mother, adding authenticity to the tense storyline.
In the first two episodes, Eun-joo becomes the emotional anchor of the narrative, expressing layered emotions of anxiety, love, and frustration as her husband risks his life. From subtle glances to heart-wrenching confrontations, Kim Tae-hee’s performance resonated strongly with viewers.
