Kim Soo-hyun’s Old Controversies Surface: From Setting Fire to Weird “Preschool” Comment 

Recently, a topic titled “Kim Soo-hyun’s buried past controversies” was published on the Korean forum instiz, drawing attention. Said topic details several controversies that involved Kim Soo Hyun in the past. 

First, it accused Kim Soo-hyun of enjoying drinking and smoking as a minor, even going to adult entertainment establishments. The topic also claimed that there are photos of the actor urinating in public. 

Secondly, a past controversy involving several photos of Kim Soo-hyun and his friends was dug up. In the photos, the actor and his friends were pretending to remove their underwear for a photo shoot for a shopping site, sparking discussion as the private parts of the friends were exposed. 

According to the topic, at the time of controversy, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency has issued an official statement explaining the situation, while the shopping site described the actor as a victim of the incident. 

Third, when he was an MC on an Mnet music show, Kim Soo-hyun once revealed that during his 2nd year in high school, he used to fold around 60 paper airplanes, set them on fire, and launch them, causing the school’s flower bed to catch fire, said the topic. 

Fourth, various screenshots of Kim Soo-hyun’s alleged old Cyworld account was captured, many of which suggests that the male actor often went to clubs and drank, at the same time use of a lot of curse words.

Finally, Kim Soo-hyun’s statement of hoping to date a 21-year-old woman when he is 41, at the same time asking for preschool students to notice him, was brought up, drawing mixed reactions between “just a joke” and “excessive”.
