Kim Soo-hyun Reveals First Impression Of Kim Ji-won, “She Left Alone Without A Manager”
Actor Kim Soo-hyun recalled his impression of actress Kim Ji-won at their first meeting for “Queen of Tears”
tvN recently released a new “tvN-terview” featuring the cast of the new drama “Queen of Tears”. In the video, the actors talked about their first impressions of each other.
Regarding Kim Ji-won, Kim Soo-hyun said, “I met her for the first time at the meeting with the writer. When the meeting was over, I was accompanied by my manager, but Kim Ji-won left alone”.
He continued, “After the meeting, she wore her hat on and suddenly left by herself. So I thought, ‘Oh, so she’s a person who enjoys that kind of thing’. I saw that scene again on the filming set”.
Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won work together in tvN’s new Sat-Sun series “Queen of Tears” (written by Park Ji-eun/ directed by Jang Young-woo and Kim Hee-won). The drama depicts the romance of Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won), a third-generation chaebol and “queen of Queen’s Department Store”, and Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun), son of Yongdu-ri village and a “prince of supermarket” as they face crisis and start again in the third year of their marriage.
In the “tvN-terview” video, Kim Soo-hyun also shared, “My acting goal is to she viewers’ emotions”, adding “But our drama will naturally stir up your emotions on its own, so please look forward to it”.
Regarding the reason he decided to star in this drama, the actor said, “I wanted to challenge a drama with a family story and a love story like the one Baek Hyun-woo is going to tell”.
