Kim Soo-hyun appointed as National Tax Service ambassador

Actor Kim Soo-hyun has been appointed as a model taxpayer.

According to the National Tax Service on the 21st, actors Kim Soo-hyun and Song Ji-hyo (real name Cheon Soo-yeon) attended the appointment ceremony of the National Tax Service ambassador held at the Seoul Regional Tax Office in Susong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on this day.

Kim Soo-hyun and Song Ji-hyo received appointment plaques from National Tax Service Director Kim Chang-gi and were appointed as National Tax Service ambassadors. They are scheduled to participate in various National Tax Service activities for promoting public awareness of tax administration, including public service advertising and publication production to spread a culture of sincere tax payment.

Unlike events that have been held in a simplified manner after the COVID-19 outbreak, this National Tax Service ambassador appointment ceremony was held as a face-to-face event, including a band performance and photo shoot.

The National Tax Service appointed Kim Soo-hyun and Song Ji-hyo as ambassadors for their sincere tax payment activities, recognizing them as entertainers who should set an example for the Korean people and the public.

After going through the screening process of the Public Ethics Committee regarding their sincere payment status, two entertainers are selected as National Tax Service ambassadors.

Previously, Kim Soo-hyun and Song Ji-hyo were awarded presidential commendations as “model taxpayers” on the 57th Taxpayer’s Day on March 3.

Meanwhile, Kim Soo-hyun is scheduled to return to TVN’s drama “Queen of Tears” this year. “Queen of Tears” is a new work by Park Ji-eun, the writer of SBS’s “My Love from the Star,” and actress Kim Ji-won has been confirmed as the female lead. “Queen of Tears” is a drama that tells the story of a couple who overcome a crisis in their lives and achieve a miraculous love.
