Kim So Yeon mentions her sexy dress at the Busan International Film Festival, “Let’s make a hot issue” 

Actress Kim So Yeon revealed the secret story of the shocking dress she wore at the Busan International Film Festival.

Kim So Yeon appeared as a guest in the 192nd episode of tvN’s entertainment show “You Quiz on the Block”, which aired on May 3rd.

That day, Kim So Yeon confessed that she was once an actress whom no one cast. Recalling the past, she said, “I completed ‘All About Eve’ and some more works, the projects got fewer as I reached 24 and 25, and there came the moment when no one looked for me. I should have thought my luck would continue because I was at a beautiful age. However, I only thought, ‘Why am I not getting any casting offers?’. I realized the problem, then I watched and learned from actors who challenged different genres. I asked my company to allow me to audition and dreamed of making a comeback”.

In addition, the actress shared, “A short film taken during my hiatus was invited to the Busan International Film Festival and I appeared on the red carpet”. Revealing an anecdote related to this event, Kim So Yeon said, “It had been a while since I appeared at a public event, so I thought about preparing a pretty dress.”

Kim So Yeon remembered, “They showed me some pictures and the dress was too bold. I confidently wore it, thinking ‘Let’s make it a hot issue’, and ‘Let’s show them Kim So Yeon is here again’”. She actually succeeded in attracting keen attention with her shockingly sexy dress.

Yoo Jae Suk commented, “It was a series of surprises”, mentioning her signature long straight haircut. Kim So Yeon added, “I was cast in ‘Iris’ right after coming to the Busan International Film Festival. After going through all of that, I realized how precious and grateful it is to receive a casting offer. I wanted to work hard on that project so I cut my hair and put great effort into practicing for the role. Since I played an agent, I thought I needed to build muscles”.

She continued, “While filming an action scene, my legs tore and I had surgery to stitch it up. On the way home, I turned around and went to the gym to exercise. I was very determined back then”, drawing admiration.
