Actress Kim So-hyun has confirmed her appearance in the new drama “Is It Fate?” (written by Park Geu-ro, directed by Song Hyun-wook).
“Kim So-hyun has been cast as Lee Hong-joo, the main character of ‘Is it Fate?’,” her agency Ieum Hashtag’ announced on Sep 27th.
“Is It Fate?” is the story of young people who find their true love and dreams when they reunite with their first love again after 10 years. It is based on a webtoon of the same name (written by Nam Ji-eun, drawn by Kim In-ho).
Kim So-hyun will play the role of animation producer Lee Hong-joo who is just an ordinary office worker. She is a person who is afraid of love due to the hurt from her past love.
Producer Song Hyun-wook will direct the show. He is called a romance master for directing dramas such as “The King’s Affection”, “Beauty Inside”, and “Oh Hae-young Again”.
“Is It Fate?” is scheduled to begin filming in the second half of this year.
