Actor Kim Seon Ho is expected to collaborate with Hong Sisters in the upcoming drama “Can I interpret this love?”.
According to a report by Xports News on July 3rd, Kim Seon Ho has received an offer to star in the new drama “Can I interpret this love?” (literal title) by Hong Sisters as the male lead and is reviewing it.
Written by Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran), “Can I interpret this love?” presents a love story between an interpreter and a top actress.
In particular, the drama depicts a romance in which a man, an interpreter who translates different languages, meets a woman who expresses her love in a completely opposite way. Misunderstandings appear because they interpret things in different ways but explosive and comedic situations occur as they try to understand each other.
Hong Sisters are popular screenwriters who wrote hit dramas, such as “Alchemy of Souls”, “Hotel Del Luna”, “A Korean Odyssey”, “Master’s Sun”, “My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho”, “You’re Beautiful”, “The Greatest Love”, “Couple or Trouble”, etc. Therefore, viewers are raising high expectations for “Can I interpret this love?”.
Following his comeback on the theater stage and the big screen, Kim Seon Ho will also return to drama acting through “Mangnaein” and “Can I interpret this love?”.
Making his debut in 2009 with the play “New Boeing Boeing”, Kim Seon Ho started to appear in dramas starting from KBS 2TV’s “Good Manager” in 2017. He gained huge popularity after playing the lead role in tvN’s drama “Hometown Cha Cha Cha”, but controversy over his private life broke out as soon as the drama ended in October 2021. The actor apologized and took a 9-month hiatus. He resumed activities through the play “Touching the Void”.
Recently, he made his film debut as the main character in “The Childe” directed by Park Hoon Jung and received favorable reviews for his acting.
After “The Childe” promotion, Kim Seon Ho is planning to finish the filming for the movie “Tyrant” and begin the filming of the new OTT series “Mangnaein” by director Kim Ji Woon. Fans are also looking forward to seeing a new transformation of Kim Seon Ho through “Can I interpret this love?”.
