Kim Seon Ho Makes A Generous 100 Million Won Donation to Support Independent Young People
Actor Kim Seon Ho has shown his good influence by making a donation on his birthday.
The Korean Red Cross (Chairman Shin Hee Young) announced on May 8 that Kim Seon Ho donated 100 million won of the profits from his fan meeting to support independent young people (those who have left protective custody).
Kim Seon Ho decided to participate in the Korean Red Cross’s support activities for independent youth to encourage their new beginnings and dreams.
In accordance with Kim Seon Ho’s request, the Korean Red Cross plans to use the donation to fund programs that help enhance the capabilities of independent young people. The Korean Red Cross provides psychological stability programs and customized items to support independent young individuals.
Kim Seon Ho said, “This donation was made by the fans. I am grateful to all the fans who always support me. I hope this donation can help young people who have to stand alone.“
Chairman Shin Hee Young said, “About 2,500 independent people are left alone in the world every year, and over the past three years, more than 20 independent people have made extreme choices due to social indifference. I hope that young people who are experiencing psychological and economic difficulties can confidently become members of society and live independently through residential and emotional support programs.”
Meanwhile, Kim Seon Ho has made donations to aid victims of the Pohang typhoon, as well as to help pay for medical treatment for pediatric cancer patients and children with rare diseases. Kim Seon Ho’s fans are also practicing sharing for vulnerable groups, inspired by his good influence.
