On October 28, Kim Se-jeong uploaded a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the set of her upcoming MBC historical drama Moon River.
Among them was one particular image showing her and Kang Tae-oh standing close together, smiling warmly for the camera. However, fans noticed that the photo disappeared within minutes, leaving only the other images in her carousel post.

The photo’s deletion immediately stirred curiosity online. Some speculated that the image might have been removed due to its intimate nature particularly because of Kang Tae-oh’s hand placement, which could easily be misinterpreted by viewers. Others suggested that Se-jeong, known for her cautious and respectful approach to social media, might have decided to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings ahead of the show’s premiere.
Despite the deletion, fans quickly rallied to defend the actress. Many noted that the photo was completely innocent and reflected the friendly chemistry between the two stars. Comments flooded social media platforms with messages like, “She probably just didn’t want people to twist the narrative,” and “Their friendship looks so genuine nothing to overthink.”
Interestingly, shortly after Se-jeong’s post disappeared, Kang Tae-oh uploaded his own carousel of photos from the same filming day. His version included different behind-the-scenes shots, showcasing a playful and comfortable dynamic with the cast though not the deleted image itself.
The interaction between the two co-stars only added fuel to the growing excitement for their upcoming drama. Fans commented, “Their chemistry is already amazing even off-screen,” and “They’re probably just having fun can’t wait to see them together in the drama!”
In Moon River, Kim Se-jeong stars as Hong Yeon, a fearless bounty hunter who loses her memory, while Kang Tae-oh plays Crown Prince Lee Kang, a man who has lost his smile after a tragic past. The story unfolds when the two characters mysteriously swap souls, setting off a fantasy romance filled with humor, longing, and self-discovery.

The drama’s production team has already praised both actors for their strong emotional synergy and natural on-screen chemistry, calling them “one of the most compatible duos of the season.” With Moon River set to premiere on November 7, 2025, anticipation is running high for the series’ romantic and visually rich storytelling.
