Actress Kim Sae-ron (22) has been booked by the police on charges of drunk driving.
According to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, Kim Sae-ron is being investigated on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving) on May 18th.
Kim Sae-ron drove while drunk at around 8 a.m. in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It is known that she hit the guardrails and a street tree. The citizen then called the police to report.
The police have given Kim Sae-ron a breathalyzer test. Her blood alcohol levels were confirmed. However, it is said that it is not at the level of license revocation.
Kim Sae-ron asked for a blood test at the scene. A police official said, “We have requested a blood collection test from the National Forensic Service. We’re going to determine the charges based on that results,” they said.
In a telephone conversation with Dispatch, Kim Sae-ron’s agency said, “We are checking the situation.”
