Actor Kim Sae-ron and Shin Hye-sung of the group Shinhwa have been banned from appearing on KBS.

As a result of this screening, the temporary appearance restriction measures for Kim Sae-ron and Shin Hye-sung last year have been changed to a broadcasting appearance ban.

As a result, Kim Sae-ron and Shin Hye-sung will no longer be able to appear on KBS programs in the future. Unless the KBS Broadcasting Appearance Regulation Screening Committee lifts the measures on the two individuals, they cannot appear on KBS programs.

Kim Sae-ron and Shin Hye-sung caused controversy last year due to drunk driving. As a result, KBS imposed temporary appearance restriction measures on the two individuals.

Kim Sae-ron was sentenced to a fine of 20 million won in a verdict on the 5th. Kim Sae-ron, who gave up on the appeal, was confirmed to be sentenced to a fine.

Meanwhile, KBS has designated “acts that cause social controversy due to illegal or unethical behavior” as subjects for broadcasting appearance regulation deliberations. The Broadcasting Appearance Regulation Screening Committee is held for cases including “draft evasion,” “habitual use of prescription drugs and marijuana smoking,” “fraud, theft, and gambling,” “assault and sexual assault,” “other cases prosecuted under civil and criminal law,” and “cases that undermine public morals and social order.”
