On June 26, tvN’s You Quiz on the Block uploaded a preview video to its official social media account. The clip revealed how the couple embraced and cried together after hearing about the drama’s success.

Kim Mu Yeol recalled receiving a phone call from the director informing him that Teach You a Lesson had taken the top spot. “I heard from the director over the phone that we had reached No. 1,” he said. “I could not even tell my wife, ‘We are No. 1 globally,’ because I was crying so much.”

He added that the two held each other and broke down in tears. “That moment remains in my memory. I think it will give me strength for a very long time,” the actor said.

During an interview with the production team, Yoon Seung Ah explained that her husband rarely cries. “Kim Mu Yeol is not someone who usually shows tears. I can count the number of times I have seen him cry,” she said. “But this time, he thanked me and cried for the first time.”
