Kim Moo-yeol To Attend Berlin Film Festival With Ma Dong-seok For ‘Crime City 4’ & Accompanied By Wife Yoon Seung-ah
According to OSEN on January 23rd, actors Ma Dong-seok, Kim Moo-yeol, Lee Dong-hwi, Park Ji-hwan, and “The Roundup: Punishment (Crime City 4)” director Heo Myung-haeng have confirmed their attendance at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival.
In addition, actress Yoon Seung-ah will accompany her husband Kim Moo-yeol on the red carpet of the Berlin Film Festival.
“The Roundup: Punishment” is an action comic film about the operation conducted by monster detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok) against the villains Baek Chang-gi (Kim Moo-yeol), a former mercenary and head of an online gambling organization, and Jang Dong-cheol (Lee Dong-hwi), an IT genius and CEO of an IT company.
The film was named in the Berlinale Special Gala category of the 74th Berlin International Film Festival, which will be held from the 15th to the 25th of February. Berlinale Special Gala introduces a variety of films that can communicate with the public the most widely.
Earlier, Yoon Seong-hyun’s movie “Time To Hunt” (2020) was also invited to the Berlinale Special Gala category of the 70th Berlin Film Festival. “The Roundup: Punishment” is the first movie in the series to receive the invitation.
The movie is scheduled to premiere in Korea in the first half of this year after being screened by overseas audiences and critics through the world premiere.
Meanwhile, the Korean movie “Exhuma” was also invited to the Forum section of the upcoming Berlin International Film Festival but only director Jang Jae-hyun attended the event. The cast, including Choi Min-sik, Yoo Hae-jin, Kim Go-eun, and Lee Do-hyun, will not be able to join him.
