Actor Park Joong Hoon hosts an emotional and humorous dinner with close friends on Channel A’s “Best Friend Documentary: Table for 4”. One of the invited guests, actor Kim Min Joon also known as G-Dragon’s brother-in-law charmed viewers with a hilarious anecdote about his son.

In the episode aired on November 3, Park Joong Hoon, a top youth star of the 80s and 90s, invites longtime friends former basketball player Heo Jae and actor Kim Min Joon to reminisce at meaningful locations from their past. The heartfelt gathering soon turned into a laughter-filled reunion as the trio shared honest stories.

Heo Jae, who met Park Joong Hoon in high school and has been friends with him for 45 years, jokingly revealed that Park, as an ordinary student, used to look up to him a sports student at the time. Park refuted the claim, teasing that Heo actually envied his long hair and guitar skills. Their banter brought out genuine chemistry and drew laughter from host Park Kyung Lim.

Kim Min Joon recalled how he starred in Park Joong Hoon’s directorial debut film Top Star. This collaboration led to Park officiating his wedding. Kim revealed he initially didn’t want a wedding officiant, but Park offered the role himself, making it hard to refuse a behind-the-scenes twist that amused the viewers.

The conversation turned sentimental as Park shared how he got his big break in the movie Kam Bo. He persistently visited the film studio, cleaning with a mop and even auditioning in just his underwear mimicking Rocky, before finally landing the role.

He also opened up about his special bond with veteran actor Ahn Sung Ki, attributing their connection to his father. Park recalled his father bowing 90 degrees and asking Ahn to take care of him, which left a lasting impression. A recent visit to express gratitude to Ahn brought him to tears, adding a touching moment to the show.

Park also shared the love story with his wife, whom he met while studying in New York. A Japan-born Korean, his wife sometimes argued with him in Japanese, but the tension dissolved when both had to look up words in the dictionary mid-argument turning fights into laughter.

Continuing the family theme, Kim Min Joon shared how his son once asked, “Dad, what exactly is your job?” Despite his recent success in the box office hit Exhuma, explaining his acting career to his son proved surprisingly difficult.

He also revealed that he and his wife G-Dragon’s older sister agreed not to show their son’s face publicly. However, their plans were unexpectedly derailed when G-Dragon himself posted a photo of the boy on social media. “That’s how my son became famous,” Kim said, laughing it off.
