Netflix’s original series “Narco-Saints” is gaining popularity.

“Narco-Saints” depicts an ordinary entrepreneur who has no choice but to risk his life in joining the secret mission of government agents to capture a Korean drug lord operating in Suriname. Thanks to the series’ popularity, interest in rookie Kim Min-gwi, who showed off his strong presence in the drama, is also increasing. In the drama, Kim Min-gwi plays Lee Sang-jun, a deacon and close aide of Jeon Yo-hwan (Hwang Jung-min).

Lee Sang-jun is a pastor externally, but in reality, he is a close aide who assists drug lord Jeon Yo-hwan like a shadow.

Kim Min-gwi, who started his career as a CF model in 2018, made his face known by appearing in the drama “L.U.C.A.: The Beginning” last year. He then gained popularity by playing the role of Nam Kyu-hyun in the drama “Nevertheless” starring Song Kang and Han So-hee.
