Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min’s wedding was already the talk of the town with 1,200 guests and a luxurious venue, but the real buzz came after the ceremony — when Jun-ho jokingly exposed his celebrity friends’ wedding gift amounts on SBS’s My Little Old Boy.
“Cha Tae-hyun only gave me 30,000 won (approx. $23),” Kim Jun-ho quipped during the episode aired on August 3. The revelation triggered laughter, especially when Kim Ji-min added, “He gave me the big amount.” Kim Jun-ho didn’t let it go easily: “For someone like Cha Tae-hyun, couldn’t he have slipped me something extra on the side?”
Even funnier? When confronted, Cha Tae-hyun reportedly told him, “If I gave 50,000 won, you wouldn’t remember. That’s why I gave 30,000.” Jun-ho now says it’s the “lowest wedding gift of my life.”

Jun-ho also called out Son Hyun-joo, who apparently told him, “You’d just blow the money.” However, not all news was grim. He praised Yoo Ji-tae, Shin Dong-yup, and Seo Jang-hoon for gifting to both him and Ji-min, and added, “Lee Young-ja and Kim Sook were incredibly generous too.”
The crown for best gift? That went to Kwon Sang-woo, who “gave so much I considered sending him a separate thank-you gift — he even sent a housewarming present.”
In a twist of marital realism, Jun-ho tried to reclaim some of Ji-min’s portion of the wedding money. She calmly shot him down: “We’re a community now. All the wedding money goes into one pot.” Watching this unfold, Seo Jang-hoon and Shin Dong-yup joked, “Everyone gave it to Ji-min to play it safe. Kim Jun-ho’s broke now — no golf, nothing left!”
The couple tied the knot on July 13, 2025, in a private ceremony at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas. With ₩100 million in venue rental and ₩200 million spent on food alone, it was one of the biggest comedy weddings in Korean entertainment.
