On April 21, a press showcase for SBS Plus variety program Travel Method of Real Man was held online, featuring cast members including Choo Sung Hoon and Daesung.
The show follows a spontaneous, instinct-driven travel concept, highlighting the “bro chemistry” of three strong personalities exploring new destinations without rigid plans.
Kim Jong Kook revealed that this program marks his first overseas schedule since getting married, offering a glimpse into his mindset as a newlywed.
“Like all married men, I went far away and worked hard for my family,” he said.

He added humorously: “Of course, we’d prefer to work comfortably in Korea, but we really went all out and filmed diligently.”
His wife, he shared, simply told him to “travel safely,” rather than offering any special requests.
A lighthearted moment came when Daesung suggested doing a domestic trip next time. Kim Jong Kook immediately rejected the idea, drawing laughter from the audience.
The exchange highlighted his playful personality while subtly reinforcing his commitment to working hard—even if it means traveling far from home.

According to the cast, the program stands out for its unplanned, spontaneous travel style.
- Choo Sung Hoon emphasized the lack of strict planning
- Daesung noted the discovery of lesser-known locations, especially in Japan
- The show promises raw, unscripted moments rather than polished itineraries
The first season, filmed in Kyushu, aims to present a fresh perspective on travel variety shows.
Kim Jong Kook married a non-celebrity in September last year, making this appearance his first major variety project since tying the knot.
Travel Method of Real Man in Kyushu premieres on April 21 at 8:40 PM (KST) on SBS Plus.
