The May 26th broadcast of SBS’s entertainment program “My Little Old Boy” showed Kim Hee-chul, Kim Jong-kook, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Lee Dong-gun traveling with their fathers.
Seo Jang-hoon asked the mothers, “How many times a day do you make calls?”, and Kim Hee-chul’s mother said, “When I go on a trip with friends, I call when I go out to catch a bus, get on the bus, have coffee at a rest area, visit nice places and look around. I also send pictures”. Heo Kyung-hwan’s mother added, “I call dozens of times”.
What about the fathers? Lee Dong-gun’s father said, “I’ll be in trouble if Dong-gun’s mom calls first. We’ll get scolded if we call her first. Dong-gun’s mom should call when she wants and feel comfortable”. Kim Jong-kook’s father shared, “I don’t often call her. My son does it”. Hearing that, Kim Jong-kook commented, “They don’t do such things. They just have not divorced”, drawing laughter. In response, Kim Jong-kook mother angrily exclaimed, “You’re completely embarrassing me”.
There was a conversation about how the fathers save their wives’ numbers on their phones. Kim Hee-chul’s father has his wife saved as “My beloved Kim Soon-ja”. Kim Hee-chul said, “When my mom goes to the restroom, my dad will also disappear. It turns out that he’s holding her bag in front of the restroom. He’s completely opposite to me.”
Lee Dong-gun’s father saves his wife as “Our home”, while Heo Kyung-hwan’s father names his wife as “queen”. Kim Jong-kook’s father has his wife saved as “Our child’s mom”.
Lee Dong-gun’s mother said, “I used to save him as ‘husband’ but I already changed it to his name”. Kim Hee-chul’s mother revealed that she named her husband “My love”, while Heo Kyung-hwan’s mother saved his husband’s number as “Beloved dad”. Kim Jong-kook’s mother commented, “I just save him as ‘Father’”, drawing laughter.
