Kim Jaejoong Ranked 1st by Japanese Women as the Actor They Want to See in Dramas “Followed by Seo In-guk”

Kim Jaejoong and Seo In-guk have been selected as Korean actors that Japanese women in their 30s most want to see in dramas

In April 2024, the Japanese survey site “Netorabo” conducted a survey among women in their 30s in Japan on the topic of “Korean actors they would like to see in Japanese dramas”. The results showed that Kim Jaejoong ranked 1st and Seo In-guk ranked 2nd.

Kim Jaejoong gained significant popularity in Japan as part of the group “TVXQ”. He expanded his career as an actor with roles in the movies “Heaven’s Postman” and MBC’s dramas “Triangle” and “Dr. Jin”. Additionally, his debut in a Japanese drama with “Sunao ni Narenakute” garnered him considerable local popularity. Furthermore, his OST “Rokutousei” for the Japanese drama “Wicked Woman” with singer Kim Junsu also made headlines in Japan.

Seo In-guk debuted in the entertainment industry as a singer after winning Mnet’s “Superstar K” Season 1. After that, he gained recognition as an actor, starting with his role in tvN’s drama “Reply 1997” in 2012, followed by KBS’s drama “Hello Monster” and tvN’s drama “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes”. Known for portraying vastly different characters in each project, Seo In-guk has earned a reputation as a versatile actor. His popularity in Japan was evident with his 10th-anniversary concert “IN THE X” in November last year, which sold out all seats.

Following Kim Jaejoong and Seo In-guk in the survey were actors Jung Yunho, Jung Yonghwa, Yook Sungjae, Junho (2PM), Park Yoochun, Park Si-hoo, Park Seo-joon and Cha Eun-woo, who also received significant votes.

Meanwhile, Kim Jaejoong has reportedly earned substantial income from his popularity in Japan, owning a building worth 12 billion won in Shibuya, Japan.
