“The Bequeathed” depicts the story of Yoon Seo-ha, played by Kim Hyun-joo, who becomes entangled in a series of ominous events and secrets related to the inheritance of Seonsan, her small father who had been forgotten even in existence after his sudden death.

Kim Hyun-joo, a university part-time lecturer who only aspired to become a professor, takes on the role of Yoon Seo-ha, who inherits Seonsan due to the sudden death of her small father and becomes entangled in ominous events.

Speaking about her character, Kim Hyun-joo stated, “I wanted to express the narrative and character who, like a train departing from the track, has all suppressed emotions and instincts exploding the moment the suppressed instincts awaken, forgetting even what the purpose is and why they want it.

“The Bequeathed” is a Netflix series where director Yeon Sang-ho, who caused a K-zombie craze worldwide with the film “Train to Busan,” and director Min Hong-nam, known for impressive works such as the Netflix series “Hell” and the Netflix film “Psychokinesis,” participate in planning, screenplay, direction, and screenplay. Min Hong-nam, who was also the co-director of films like “Train to Busan,” “Psychokinesis,” and “Peninsula,” takes on the roles of directing and writing.
