Competing against IU and Go Yoon Jung, Kim Hye Yoon is the winner of the 2022 Blue Dragon’s Best New Actress 

Kim Hye Yoon won Best New Actress at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards.

At the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards held at 8:30 pm KST on November 25th at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, the nominees for “Best New Actress” are Go Yoon Jung (“Hunt”), Kim Hye Yoon (“The Girl on a Bulldozer”), Kim Shin Young (“Decision to Leave”), Shin Si Ah (“The Witch : Part 2. The Other One”), Lee Ji Eun/IU (“Broker”).

Kim Hye Yoon said in her acceptance speech, “I came here as an award presenter three years ago. At the time, I was very nervous while watching the seniors, but I’m in their place now. I also contacted people I am grateful for separately. While acting these days, more than a happy, excited, and trembling heart, I was more afraid and worried.”

She continued, “There were a lot of question marks, but it seems to have changed to an exclamation mark here. Thank you to everyone who helped me change it to an exclamation mark.” 

Meanwhile, Kim Dong Hwi (“In Our Prime”), Mu Jin Sung (“Perhaps Love”), Seo In Guk (“Project Wolf Hunting”), Ong Seong Woo (“Life Is Beautiful – 2020”) and Lee Seo Jun (“Hansan: Rising Dragon”) were nominated for “Best New Actor” and the winner was Kim Dong Hwi.
