On September 10, the YouTube channel “YouTube Ha Ji-young” uploaded a video titled “Princess Mamel is Here! Full-Course Mukbang with Stories, Kim Hye Yoon’s Loyal Guest Appearance!” where Kim candidly shared her thoughts on daily life and her craft.

When asked if she meets people during breaks from projects, Kim confessed, “Honestly, not much. I used to love going out, meeting friends, and having fun, but since I’m constantly around people while working, I started craving quiet places instead.”

She described her home routine, saying, “I watch films or dramas, read scripts, and do endless housework. I live alone now, so I’m stuck in this cycle—doing laundry, washing dishes, noticing hair, vacuuming, and then realizing the laundry is done, so I have to hang it again. It just never ends.” She even admitted that sometimes she runs out of socks and has to send an SOS call to her mom.

Currently, Kim says her biggest focus is her cat and preparing for her next character. “A role doesn’t come together overnight. I’m constantly studying—even while eating—I think about how to shape the character,” she revealed.

Later, the conversation turned to acting regrets. When asked if she ever felt unsatisfied after a performance, Kim admitted, “There are times when the director says ‘cut’ and I know immediately I didn’t like it. At that exact moment, I quickly ask myself, ‘If I do it again, can I do it better?’ I ask three times. If I say yes, I ask to retake it. If I feel that was the best I could give, I move on.” She added, “But in reality, I still end up asking the director, ‘How was it?’ And sometimes, even when I think I can do better, it doesn’t always work out.”

Her candid honesty and self-awareness once again highlight why fans admire her both on and off the screen.
