On March 9th, an interview with Kim Hieora was uploaded to the Allure Korea YouTube channel. When asked about the extent to which she prepared for “The Glory”, she replied, “Since my character, Lee Sara, is not the type of person who lives with strong determination like Yeon Jin or Hye Jung, but rather lives because she has to live, and is a character addicted to drugs, I tried to maintain the appearance of people who actually suffered from addiction.”

Kim Hieora further explained that after investigating people who suffered from addiction, she found that their bodies were significantly emaciated. Their postures and body shapes were often hunched or crooked.

Despite being someone who typically exercised, she reduced her workouts and water intake to resemble the appearance of a drug addict, which ultimately led to her real body shape becoming worse.

Regarding her ability to synchronize with Lee Sara, she responded to the question, “What is the degree of synchronization between you and Lee Sara?” by saying, “I don’t take drugs, and I have a strong will to live, so I think it’s about 50%.”

Kim Hieora is known for her talent in drawing and painting. When asked if she drew the actual paintings in “The Glory,” she replied, “It’s about 50-50. The director asked me to draw the paintings. However, the paintings were much more detailed than I thought. So I only did the touch-up on the base work. I have the paintings I drew at home, and I’ll show them at an exhibition or another opportunity later.”
