Actresses Kim Hee-sun and Lee Hye-young will be working together in MBC’s drama “Our Home”
MBC’s new drama “Our Home” is a human black comedy that tells the story of the main character, the best family psychology counselor in Korea who faces an unknown blackmailer threatening her career and family. She teams up with her mother-in-law, a mystery novelist, to protect her family.
The drama is written by Nam Ji-yeon, who wrote the web drama “So I Married the Anti-fan”, and directed by Lee Dong-hyun, known for works like “Doctor Lawyer” and “She Knows Everything”.
In “Our Home”, Kim Hee-sun will play the role of Noh Young-won, the best family psychology counselor in Korea.
Noh Young-won lives a seemingly perfect life that everyone envies but faces a situation where everything is thrown into chaos by an unexpected incident. To protect her beloved family, she joins forces with her mother-in-law Hong Sa-kang.
Kim Hee-sun’s character is intelligent and resourceful but harbors a secret in her heart.
Lee Hye-young will portray Hong Sa-kang, a popular mystery novelist and a perfect mother who devotes everything to her only son Jae-jin.
When a challenging incident arises, she embarks on a complex and delicate psychological journey.
The production team stated, “‘Our Home’ is a drama that portrays the shock of facing the true nature of families that was taken for granted, not just the typical family conflicts or everyday family stories.”
They expressed strong confidence in the story’s strength and the unique womance between Kim Hee-sun and Lee Hye-young, who represent their respective generations.
