Actress Kim Hee-jung confirmed her appearance in “Sweet Home” Season 2, following Season 1
Kim Hee-jung’s agency Inyeon Entertainment announced on Nov 17th, “Kim Hee-jung has been cast in Netflix’s series ‘Sweet Home 2’.“
“Sweet Home 2” is a thriller drama based on the webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of individuals fighting for survival in a world where desires turn into monsters.
In “Sweet Home 2”, Kim Hee-jung will return as Cha Jin-ok, the mother of Park Min-joo (played by Park Jin-soo) and the director of a daycare center.
In Season 1, Kim Hee-jung effectively depicted the maternal instincts amidst the life-threatening situations, showcasing a nuanced and impactful performance.
In Season 2, as the story shifts from Green Home to a new setting called the Stadium, viewers are left curious about what will unfold. Kim Hee-jung’s involvement and interactions with other characters, especially the synergy with young actors such as Song Kang, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Si-young and Go Min-si, are anticipated.
“Sweet Home 2” is set to be released through Netflix on Dec 1st.
