In a recent interview held at a café in Gangnam, Seoul, Kim Eui-sung shared his thoughts on working with Lee Je-hoon in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama Taxi Driver 3. The show centers around a mysterious taxi company, Rainbow Taxi Company, and its driver Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon), who carries out acts of private vengeance on behalf of victims.
Following the success of Seasons 1 and 2 in 2021 and 2023, Kim Eui-sung continues his role as Rainbow Taxi Company CEO Jang Sung-chul into Season 3. When asked about working alongside Lee, Kim expressed deep appreciation. “I feel really grateful. He carries such a strong sense of responsibility for the series and lives almost like a monk. There are absolutely no issues with him,” he said with a laugh.

“He doesn’t drink, and he’s always incredibly polite,” Kim added. “You start wondering, ‘Can someone really be like this?’ Even though he’s older now, he gives his all to the action scenes without hesitation or compromise. I hope his knees stay healthy for a long time.”
Kim also compared their personalities, saying, “I’m older, but I can be a bit childish at times. Meanwhile, Je-hoon is mature and responsible. He was always a reassuring presence on set.”
