Actor Kim Dong-wook and former SM trainee Stella Kim got married
On December 22nd, Kim Dong-wook and Stella held their private wedding at a cathedral in Seoul.
Kim Dong-wook’s wife Stella Kim is a Korean who immigrated to America at the age of 4. She was a famous trainee in the debut lineup of Girls’ Generation. During her trainee days, Stella went back and forth between Korea and the US, however, her parents opposed her debut with Girls’ Generation so she returned to the US. After graduating from New York University, she is currently working as a marketer and writer.
Photos taken at Kim Dong-wook and Stella’s wedding are spreading on social media by their acquaintances. The two’s wedding was attended by many actors, such as Jung Woo-sung, Shin Ha-kyun, Yoo Jae-jin, Cha Tae-hyun, Oh Jung-se, etc.
In addition, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung also posted photos taken with Stella in different places, from the dressing room to the wedding venue, the church, and the afterparty venue, showing off their long-lasting friendship since trainee days. She added the caption, “You were more beautiful… than I imagined. Are you a queen? Today, I’m giving all my blessings to you. Congratulations!”.
When announcing Kim Dong-wook’s marriage in August, his agency stated, “The bride-to-be is a non-celebrity with outstanding beauty. The two decided to get married after dating seriously based on their faith and trust”.
Meanwhile, Kim Dong-wook made his debut in the 2004 movie “A Crimson Mark”. He became famous after starring in various successful movies and dramas, such as “Along with the Gods”, “Coffee Prince”, “Find Me In Your Memory”, “You Are My Spring”, “Delightfully Deceitful”, etc. Upon getting married, he also confirmed his next acting project. Kim Dong-wook will appear in SBS’s comedy investigative drama “Kang Mae-gang”, which is scheduled to air in the first half of next year.
