Idol group Kep1er honestly expressed their desire to receive the title “great performance provider” ahead of their comeback.
On the afternoon of Oct 13th, a press showcase was held at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul to commemorate the release of Kep1er‘s third mini-album “TROUBLESHOOTER.” The members of Kep1er (Choi Yu-jin, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Kim Chae-hyun, Kim Da-yeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Seo Young-eun, and Kang Ye-seo) attended the event.
“TROUBLESHOOTER” expresses Kep1er’s transformation into nine heroines who happily solve problems. This album is expected to prove Kep1er’s solid growth by portraying their upgraded musical color.
The title song “We Fresh” is an uptempo dance genre that combines rocking guitars and exciting house, and it is a song that stands out with strong beats that predicts a powerful performance just by listening to it. Through this song, Kep1er delivers a message of hope that you can achieve anything if you challenge together without fear despite the difficulties.
In addition, the album contains five tracks, including “Lion Tamer,” “Downtown,” “Dreams,” and their “Queendom 2″‘s finale song “THE GIRLS (Can’t Turn Me Down).”
Kep1er is considered a representative group of the 4th idol generation. On this day, Hikaru said, “I think we don’t deserve that title. Kep1er is a group whose strength is performance. If we were to be greedy, we would like to receive the title of ‘great performance provider’.”
Leader Choi Yu-jin said, “This is our fourth album, including our Japanese album. Now I can see what my members are thinking just by looking at their eyes without talking. I think our synergy is important when we stand on the stage. I’m confident that we’ve grown further in terms of vocal and performance. Our members’ teamwork is perfect,” she said.
Choi Yu-jin said, “It’s the third album released by Kep1er, and despite the short time, it’s an album that shows how we have grown since our debut, so please look forward to today’s performance.”
Kim Da-yeon said, “As we are a group that debuted through a survival audition program, many people seem to feel more familiar watching us,” adding, “We will show various aspects as each member has different strengths in vocals and performances.”
Choi Yoo-jin shared her feelings after recently completing Kep1er’s first offline fan meeting, “It was our first fan meeting with fans since our debut. I was really happy and ecstatic. I feel grateful for the love from our fans. I hope everyone will keep following us so that we can meet international fans more often in the future.”
Seo Young-eun said, “We prepared a lot of content. To tell you one thing, we filmed at a scary place with a cute character. I hope many people like it. In the future, I want to appear in entertainment shows such as “Amazing Saturday,” “Hal Myung-soo,” and “Turkidz on the Block,” she said.
Kep1er’s third mini-album “TROUBLESHOOTER” will be released at 6 p.m. on Oct 13th.
