The news of Kep1er Kim Chae Hyun’s injury has been delivered.
On April 12th, Kep1er’s agencies Wake One and Swing Entertainment posted a notice about Kim Chae Hyun’s injury and activities for the 4th mini album on Kep1er’s official fan cafe.
The agencies said, “Kim Chae Hyun suffered an ankle injury while carrying out her schedules and was taken to the hospital due to swelling. She was advised to wear a half cast and use crutches for the time being.”
They explained, “As Kep1er is at the beginning of comeback promotions, Kim Chae Hyun is doing her best to recover with a strong will to be on stage, fearing that she will damage the team. After discussing with the members based on the opinion of the medical staff, we decided that Kim Chae Hyun will perform on stage while sitting in a chair on scheduled music shows.”
They added, “According to the current situation, the video call fan signing event scheduled for 7 PM today will be held at 9 PM on April 15th. We ask for your understanding that Kim Chae Hyun’s participation may be flexible in the upcoming schedules.”
Kim Chae Hyun’s group “Kep1er” is a multinational girl group under Wake One and Swing Entertainment, consisting of Kim Chae Hyun, Xiaoting, Huening Bahiyyih, Mashiro, Hikaru, Seo Young Eun, Kang Ye Seo, Choi Yu Jin and Kim Da Yeon, who were selected through Mnet’s survival program “Girls Planet 999” (2021). Kep1er made a comeback with their 4th mini album “LOVESTRUCK!” on April 10th.
