Mixed group KARD unveiled the shocking and stylish visuals of all members through their new album concept images.
On June 18th, DSP MEDIA uploaded group concept images for KARD’s fifth mini-album “Re:”, which is scheduled to be released on June 22nd, through their official SNS accounts. Making their group comeback after one year and 10 months, KARD raised fans’ expectations by revealing a total of 4 photos, including two group concept images and unit images of BM–J.Seph and Somin–Jiwoo.
In the group concept image taken against a dark background, KARD members appear with a Tie-Dye styling highlighted by trendy and colorful details, reminding fans of their trademark intense and exotic music color. With confident expressions, the members challenge a free and bold Cleavage look as well as underboob fashion, showing off their stylish charms.
Meanwhile, in the unit images taken against a bright and glossy background, the chemistry between members of the same sex in this mixed group is clearly revealed. BM and J-Seph turn their backs against each other, creating a moment of deep emotion. Somin and Jiwoo paired up for their unit concept image. The two look at the camera with charismatic eyes, giving off a mysterious atmosphere. 4 members, who have worked together for a long time, perfectly performed the photogenic concept with their “bromance” and “womance”.
KARD’s new song “Ring The Alarm”, which will be released on June 22nd, is a Moombahton genre song made by the representative Korean producers Kim Do-hoon and Lee Hyun-seung. The mood that tells us to “enjoy this new time in an exciting way” is delivered through a rhythmic base sound, a summer vibe synthesizer, and a guitar sound.
KARD is about to make a comeback with a new album 1 year and 10 months after J.Seph, who enlisted in the military as an active-duty soldier in 2020, completed his military service. As an artist group that can compose songs, write lyrics and create performances, KARD has written new history for mixed groups in Korea and overseas.
