Kara Members Express Longing For Late Goo Ha-ra, “She’s Forever Part Of Kara”
Kara mentioned the late member Goo Ha-ra before wrapping up their first trip in celebration of the group’s 15th debut anniversary
The last episode of Kara’s reality show, scheduled to air on April 17th, will show the members recalling unforgettable memories with each other.
After participating in several activities and having meals at Kota Kinabalu, Kara members ends the day with a “firefly tour”. Mesmerized by the amazing sight of little lights sparkling in the sky, the members can’t even say a word. Park Gyu-ri and Han Seung-yoon suddenly shed tears due to overwhelmingly unknown emotions, while Nicole, Kang Ji-young and Heo Young-ji enjoy the moment to the fullest.
After returning to their accommodation, Kara members hold a party to celebrate their last night. As a second-generation group with 15 years of experience, the members begin to bring up memories from the past and take a look at old items from the past.
In particular, Han Seung-yoon surprises everyone when she shows the lyrics papers before the revision of the title track “Wanner” of their second full album released in 2009. Even after 15 years, she still cherishes the lyrics sheet of “Wanna” and traces of their hard practice still remain vividly on the paper. The touching moment is soon filled with laughter and excitement as they re-examine the lyrics that were not included in the final version.
Nicole shows affection for the members by bringing some Polaroid photos taken with the members during their promotions. Looking back on memories of their promotions with the late member Goo Ha-ra, the members recall the time they spent together.
Kara then decides to write rolling papers for the grand finale of their trip. The members also write messages expressing their longing and gratitude toward the late member Goo Ha-ra. Heo Young-ji says, “It was you who always understood my clumsy words and rearranged the ideas for me”. Park Gyu-ri also cries after saying, “Because Hara is forever part of Kara…”.
The last episode of Kara’s first travel reality program “The Only One Missing, Kara” will be available on Wavve on April 17th.
