Kang Tae-oh, who will enlist in the military this year, revealed his reactions to the production of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2”
“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” actor Kang Tae-oh, who is about to join the army, showed expectations for the production of Season 2.
On August 27th, No Cut News released an interview conducted with actor Kang Tae-oh, who played the male lead Lee Joon-ho in the recently ended drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”.
Earlier, the production team of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” – AStory announced, “Our goal is to broadcast Season 2 in 2024”. Amid the explosive reactions to the successful ending of Season 1, fans once again cheered upon hearing the news of Season 2 production.
Kang Tae-oh also gave a favorable response, saying he was looking forward to Season 2 of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and also curious about its story. He also expressed his willingness to join Season 2 right after finishing his military service if the schedules of other actors allow.
Regarding the content of Season 2, he predicted, “Joon-ho is so well-known as a sweet lover to Young-woo so if this image changes too much, the viewers would feel uncomfortable. Maybe he will have another conflict with Young-woo”. He also guessed that Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin) might treat Joon-ho in some different ways that would make him feel disappointed.
Recalling Woo Young-woo and Lee Joon-ho’s kiss scene, Kang Tae-oh said, “The fresh and inexperienced appearance of the two was very beautiful”.
In addition, the actor said he was impressed by the comment ‘I can only see the beautiful love between a man and a woman, not a disabled and a non-disabled’ from the viewers. He also emphasized that it was exactly the intention of that scene.
During the interview, Kang Tae-oh also expressed his respect for his co-star Park Eun-bin. He said, “Although Park Eun-bin had just finished her previous work ‘The King’s Affection’, she immediately immersed herself into this drama. There must be many lines that she had to prepare. Nevertheless, she worked professionally without making any mistake or showing any sign of tiredness”, pouring out compliments for Park Eun-bin.
Kang Tae-oh also revealed that Park Eun-bin gave him a lot of advice to help them improve every scene.
Confessing that he’s the style who wants to receive honest feedback, Kang Tae-oh thanked the director, saying “I was able to improve my acting thanks to his advice”.
Meanwhile, Kang Tae-oh, who was born in 1994 and has turned 29 years old, is scheduled to enlist in the military this year. No specific date of his enlistment has yet been announced.
In the interview, the actor shared, “I have recently been contacted for several good works, but unfortunately, I’m not in the situation to do it right away”, revealing that he had no choice but to refuse many love calls ahead of his military period although the enlistment warrant for him has not yet been issued.
