Kang Tae-oh Expresses Feelings After Getting Discharged From Military

Actor Kang Tae-oh (real name Kim Yoon-hwan) has finally returned to his fans after getting discharged from the military

On the morning of March 19th, Kang Tae-oh was officially discharged from the military after completing his military service of 1 year and 6 months.

On the same day, the actor expressed his feelings after his discharge through his agency Man of Creation. He shared, “I enlisted with huge love from many people after completing ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’”, adding “I spent the last time of my 20s and the first time of my 30s in the military. It was such a meaningful time as I was able to fix bad habits and receive only good experiences.”

In addition, Kang Tae-oh said, “I will greet everyone with a better appearance and work in the future, so please look forward to me and give me love”.

Kang Tae-oh entered the boot camp of Jeongpyeong Army Division 37 in Chungcheongbuk-do on September 20th, 2022, and received five weeks of basic military training before fulfilling his military service as an active-duty soldier. Faithfully serving as an assistant at the boot camp, he also read the memorandum at the Memorial Day ceremony last year.

After returning to the fans’ side, Kang Tae-oh is currently reviewing the casting offer for his upcoming project and plans to make a comeback very soon.

Earlier on the 18th, OSEN exclusively reported that Kang Tae-oh already confirmed his appearance in tvN’s new drama “Potato Lab” and would start filming right after his discharge. Scheduled to air in the first half of this year, “Potato Lab” is a romantic comedy set in a potato research institute in a mountain valley. MBC’s “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung” writer Kim Ho-soo and director Kang Il-soo will join hands to make the drama.

Born in 1994, Kang Tae-oh made his acting debut through the web series “After School: Lucky or Not” in 2013. Later, he proved his acting skills and gradually gained recognition by starring in various projects, such as “Miss Korea”, “Evergreen”, “The Tale of Nokdu”, “Run On”, “Doom at Your Service”, “Thirty Nine”, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, etc.
