Kang Kyung Joon Responds to Accusations of an Affair with a Married Woman: ‘There Are Misunderstandings’
According to legal circles, Kang Kyung-joon was sued for compensation for damage worth 50 million won on December 26th, 2023. The plaintiff accused Kang Kyung-joon of having an affair with his wife.
Explaining the reason they filed the complaint, the plaintiff claimed, “Kang Kyung-joon interfered with a family and destroyed their family’s happiness”.
According to the plaintiff, Kang Kyung-joon and his wife A are both working for real estate company S. The two work together in the same building and on the same floor.
He continued, “Kang Kyung-joon had an affair with A even though he knew that A was a married woman”, adding that he already submitted evidence.
In this regard, Kang Kyung-joon revealed that he was bewildered by the sudden accusation. He said to Donga Dotcom, “I don’t know why things like this happened. I haven’t received any complaints yet. Seems like there are misunderstandings.”
When asked if the affair was true according to the accusation, the actor showed a serious expression, saying “I don’t know why I should tell a reporter about this”.
As the reporter asked if he would release a position once he received the complaint, Kang Kyung-joon replied, “I’m confused. Please give me some time first. I’ll contact you again later”.
The news of Kang Kyung Joon being accused of having an affair has stirred things up in Korea, especially considering he’s widely known for being a devoted husband and father.
