Kang Dong-won, the main character of “Broker,” was spotted near the venue of Cannes.
Kang Dong-won drew attention as he walked through a restaurant near the Palais de Festival, the main building of the Cannes Film Festival, at 12 p.m. on May 26th (local time).
Kang Dong-won, wearing a cap and sunglasses, showed off his style with a gray long-sleeved shirt, matching socks of similar color, matching shorts and sneakers. He was seen walking freely around Cannes with his head held high, without being aware of the surrounding gaze.
Kang Dong-won will be at Cannes for the world premiere of the movie “Broker” at the Lumiere Grand Theater at 7 p.m. on the same day. Prior to the screening, Kang Dong-won’s high-class suit visuals on the red carpet are highly expected.
Meanwhile, “Broker,” which was invited to the competition section of the 75th Cannes International Film Festival, is a movie about the unexpected and special journey of those who formed a relationship around the Baby Box. “Broker,” the first Korean film directed by Japanese director Hirokazu Koreeda with the nation’s top production crew, draws attention with the harmony of Song Kang-ho and Kang Dong-won, as well as Bae Doo-na, Lee Ji-eun and Lee Joo-young. The movie will be released in Korea on June 8th.
