Actors Kang Dong-won and Jo In-sung presented buildings to their families.

KBS 2TV’s “Entertainment Weekly”, which aired on September 8th, introduced stars who showed their huge love for their families via gifts worth billions of won.

Kang Dong-won and Jo In-sung were listed at 8th place together in the ranking. The big gifts that the two actors gave their families have something in common.

Kang Dong-won built a building worth 1.2 billion won in his hometown (Gimhae) for his family in 2009. The first basement floor is the space dedicated to his father who likes to play the saxophone. Kang Dong-won’s sister used to run a cafe on the first and second floors. The furniture in the cafe was made by Kang Dong-won himself, who likes carpentry.

It is said that Jo In-sung gifted his family one or two buildings. His younger brother runs a cafe on the first floor of the building he bought in Itaewon. According to real estate experts, the price of the building was about 7 billion in 2021.

In addition, Jo In-sung also purchased two apartments in S Residence, which is located in the tallest tower in Korea, for 4.5 billion won each in 2017. In 2018, he also paid 1.5 billion won to buy the second house for his family on Jeju Island. The buildings that Jo In-sung purchased, including the cafe, the luxury officetels and the second house, are said to cost about 1.7.5 billion won overall.
