On May 7, K-Pop has broken four Guinness World Records for artists with the fastest 1 billion streams on Spotify.

First on the list is BTS member Jungkook, who achieved the record in just 409 days. This is an impressive feat for the “Golden Maknae” for his versatility and talent.

Next up is BLACKPINK member Lisa, who reached the milestone in just 411 days with her solo debut track “LALISA.” Lisa is widely regarded as one of the best dancers in K-Pop, and her solo debut has been a huge success with fans all over the world.

In the album category, it was Lisa once again who set the record for the fastest solo album to gain 1 billion streams on Spotify with her solo album “LALISA,” achieving the feat in just 595 days.

Finally, the record for the fastest 1 billion streams on Spotify for a group went to NewJeans, a relatively new K-Pop group that debuted in 2022. The group achieved the feat in just 219 days.
