Noting that Hanteo counts the album sales while Circle includes shipped albums, the netizen commented, “Last year, RIIZE and NMIXX got criticized a lot for their strategy of pushing album sales. I think SM is still using the same trick to increase their first-week sales”.

In response, other netizens commented:

– The company that suggests the trick to push album sales is HYBEㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

– Don’t write anything if you don’t understand it. Hanteo counts sales from invoices issued before albums are shipped. I just received my pre-order album this week. Now that you know it, please delete the post. The album already surpassed 1.2 million copies on Circle

– I still haven’t received the RIIZE albums that I purchased in the first week, although I bought a lot…

– There are still people who try hard to do reverse viral marketing without getting paid. Keep going. You guys only write nonsense. That’s why you only get downvotes

– HYBE and JYP are all doing the same thing. Why are you still bringing the issue up?

– The fact that RIIZE pushed sales to get ‘million seller’ title is legendary
