K-netizens Doubted Han So-hee’s French University Admission Even More After Her Post Targeting Hyeri
Han So-hee is believed to have lied about her admission to an art university in France.
On March 30, Han So-hee made a long post on Instagram blaming Hyeri for starting the transit love scandal and Ryu Jun-yeol for keeping quiet throughout the controversy.
One day later, on March 31, a netizen made a post on the popular Korean forum Nate Pann with the title “Han So-hee’s official statement regarding her admission to a French University.”
The post mentioned Han So-hee’s revealation during her and Park Seo-jun’s interview with producer Na Young-seok. In this interview, Han said she was admitted to an art university in France but could not go as she did not have 60 million won for the visa application.
This revelation has been doubted by many netizens, after a study-abroad consultant explained on YouTube that the visa application for students who wish to study in France only requires the financial proof of nearly 10 million won. Many also pointed out that Han does not speak French while the minimum admission requirement for international university student in this country is level B1.
“From what Han So-hee has done so far, if she thinks it’s unfair for her or is angry, she has to express her position on Instagram, blog, or whatever. She shows that she’s still an “urgent” person in her apology. There are a lot of comments about doubting her French university admission, and suspicions are raised about it, but she keeps her mouth shut about this. I think it’s weird and suspicious. If it’s true, with So-hee’s personality, she is not the type to stay still, but she is very calm and clueless about this,” the Pann post claimed.
