After NewJeans Haerin was accused of having plastic surgery, various Korean netizens stood to defend the female idol.
On June 22nd, a topic titled “I decided not to believe in female idol’s plastic surgery after seeing NewJeans’ Haerin” was published on the Korean forum Nate Pann. The topic has since attracted over 30,000 views and various comments.
In particular, the topic attached a photo of NewJeans Haerin, along with the caption, “The makeup has completely changed the mood. She looks so beautiful (with just proper makeup)”.
However, under the comment section, some netizens argued against the topic’s author and accused Haerin of having plastic surgery alongside changing her makeup look.
The majority, however, stood to defend Haerin, claiming that the NewJeans member’s visuals are completely natural with no procedure involved. They also express admiration at Haerin’s contrasting image, which can switch from innocent to sharp by changing makeup layout.
