JYP’s new girl group NMIXX released new teaser images, showing off Jinni and BAE’s mysterious charms
JYP Entertainment’s rookie girl group NMIXX’s Jinni and BAE showed off a mysterious atmosphere as if they were swimming in a dream.
JYP is releasing teaser contents through its official SNS channel for the first single “AD MARE” of its rookie girl group NMIXX, which is scheduled to debut on Feb 22nd. At 0 o’clock on Feb 13th, JYP posted Jinni and BAE’s second individual teaser photos, catching the attention of global K-pop fans.
Jinni and BAE give off a fantasy feeling in an unrealistic space visualizing the sea where purple transparent jellyfish and coral reefs dance. Jinni boasted her distinct features and eyes with a unique charm. BAE showed off her bobbed hair and photo-genic aspect with an elegant pose reminiscent of the Little Mermaid.
In the first teaser image, the two members perfectly pulled off the unique face chain and shone a special presence with their unexpected beauty that goes back and forth between urban charm and pure innocence. In addition, they have proved their endless possibilities in dancing and vocal through the cover content “QUALIFYING” series, which was released as part of their pre-promotion last year, signaling the emergence of a new artist with both visuals and skills.
NMIXX will mark the finale of K-pop’s 4th generation girl group lineup by making their debut into the K-pop industry with the title song “O.O” from the debut single “AD MARE.” The members completed the song by embodying the exclamation “Oh!” in surprise and expressed their confidence to prepare to be surprised by seeing something new.
Famous composers from home and abroad, including THE HUB and Dr. JO, have joined forces to create NMIXX’s unique genre “MIXX POP“, representing a fresh charm to domestic and foreign listeners.
NMIXX members Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Jinni, BAE, Jiwoo, and Kyujin are expected to play their role as an “all-rounder group” as they have all-rounder capabilities that are not limited to just a certain position such as dance, vocal or visual. The group name combines the letter “N” meaning now, new, next, and the unknown factor n with the word “MIX” symbolizing diversity to convey its ambition as “the best combination to take responsibility for the new era.”
