VCHA, a global girl group under JYP, will debut in January and compete against HYBE’s global girl group
On December 1st, VCHA released their pre-debut single, “Ready for the World”. Simultaneously, they surprised fans worldwide by revealing the official debut date through a performance video.
According to this announcement, VCHA will make their official debut on January 26, raising expectations for their worldwide activities.
VCHA is a global girl group born through the collaboration of K-pop’s representative agency, JYP, Universal Music Group, and Republic Records,which is selected as the No.1 label in the U.S. by Billboard. The girl group was formed through the massive project “A2K”, and was personally named by JYP’s CCO Park Jin-young.
Meanwhile, with their debut, VCHA is expected to be a competitor with KATSEYE, another global girl group formed through HYBE and Geffen Records’ survival show “The Debut: Dream Academy”.
